The mission and goals of the Foundation of the Association of Legal Administrators extend to the development and presentation of educational programs, research on the changing legal workplace and increasing awareness of the value of law firm administrators. The Foundation complements ALA’s directives and initiatives of advancing the legal management profession by way of research, educational initiatives, assistance to law schools with curriculum, and more. Projects supported by the Foundation include grassroots local efforts to improve the legal talent pipeline, print publication of best practices books, and leadership and management support in partnership with the Legal Services Corporation. All proceeds from this Silent Auction benefit the Foundation. The Foundation is an IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and contributions are fully deductible for federal individual income tax purposes. Silent Auction donations and the bidding process will both take place on the designated Silent Auction site.
